FAQs

Can you do background music?

Yes! We want to create your preferred atmosphere for your event and are happy to keep the volume low while guests are mingling. If you'd like a relaxed, chill vibe throughout the event, we can accommodate that—and we can even keep it mostly or possibly entirely instrumental if that’s your preference.

Do you play covers?

Yes! However, if you're looking for modern pop hits then we are not the right fit. Our specialty is bluegrass, but we’re happy to lean into country, folk, or Americana to match your vision. Typically, we play a mix of these genres. Here’s our [song list] to give you a taste of what we do. We don’t usually perform original songs at private events unless specifically requested.

Will you learn request songs?

Yes!  Request songs usually range from $200-$400 per song, depending on the amount of time it takes to prepare for the song.

Do you have a song list?

Yes! While the exact setlist may vary depending on which band members are performing at your event, you can [check out our song list here] to get a feel for our repertoire.

What are your power requirements?

We need two 3-prong, 15-amp power outlets on separate circuits within 40 feet of the performance area.

How much space do you need?

An 8 ft by 12 ft playing area is ideal. If you have less space, we will likely be able to make it work, but let’s discuss the setup before finalizing the booking.

  • We do not perform on steps, dirt, or sloped surfaces (grass is totally fine).

  • A stage is not required.

Do you travel?

Yes! We’re available to travel anywhere in the world.

Do you travel?

We’re happy to make simple announcements (e.g., “Dinner is ready!). However, for full MC services—such as introducing the bride and groom or coordinating toasts—there is an additional fee. Let us know if you’re interested in adding MC services.
